The effect of using manual & digital mind maps in teaching Home Economics on the development of processes and Learning engagement for the female students of the 1st year of middle school

Abstract

         The Aim of the research is to study the impact of using manual & digital mind maps in teaching Home Economics on the development of science processes and engagement in learning to the pupils the first preparatory grade, the included research tools to test the science operations and learning engagement scale, were applied on a sample of female students preparatory grade that reached of the (120 pupils), (40) schoolgirls control group studied in the traditional manner, (40)  pupils as a pilot group "1" studied using handmade mind maps, (40) a pupil as a pilot group "2" studied using, e-mental maps, and yielded results Find superior to the two experimental groups "1", "2", which learned maps mental (manual and digital) compared to the control group which studied the traditional way, in the post test to test the science operations, and to learning engagement scale, as well as comparing the results of the applicable post test for each of the two experimental groups. " 1 "," 2 "results proved the statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two experimental groups" 1 "," 2 "in the post test in both the processes of science (note, the use of numbers), and the results demonstrated a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the two experimental groups "1", "2" in the post test in the process of science, namely, (contact) for the experimental group "1", which studied using manual mind maps. also the results proved the existence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the existence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two experimental groups "1", "2" in the post test of science processes, namely, (forecasting, measurement, inference, classification, use of spatial and temporal relations) for the experimental group "2", which studied using mind and digital maps, There is also a relational function relationship between the two experimental groups "1", "2" between the two followed variables (science processes, engage in learning).
